fixed-lens RF rather than the large, heavy, substantial RF. I generally
avoid carrying a larger camera. Right now, the camera that fits that
description most closely would be the Bessa R with the 35/2.5 pancake on
it. A fixed lens RF more along the size of the Leica CL would be nice.

I hate to ask a dumb question, but why would anyone want to buy a
Chinese- made Yasuhara for $600 when you can buy a solid, proven Canon
model P for 1/2 that much?

doesn't appear to be a light leak problem. I would welcome a fixed lens
RF from Cosina even if it was put in a plastic R type of body. But I
suspect that this remaining stock of Yasuharas will be the last fixed
lens rangefinders I'll see in my lifetime.

The proof is in the pudding, not the recipe. Let us know the quality of
the output when you get back a developed roll or two?
