I have a Petri Color 35 and while it is very well designed (with a focus and distance scale, match needle metering and cross hairs visible in the viewfinder) and is incredibly convenient to operate, the lens is mediocre. Match the Rollei lens to the Petri design and you'd have a hell of a compact camera. Guesstimating focus, even with the lens wide open, is no problem for me. But I grew up in the floorcovering business, which has given me a better than average ability to guesstimate fairly close distances. Not having the rangefinder in the Rollei 35 is not a big deal for me. Mark On 6/2/05, Didier Ludwig <rangefinder@screengang.com> wrote: > Mark > > The Rollei 35 are unbeatable when it's about size.
