It might be because the foreground isn't sharp, as one would expect, but overthinking this, I suppose that in fact it is because it isn't unsharp enough. If more blurry in the foreground I think it would be stronger, leaving more to the imagination of the viewer. I'm not sure if the touch of magenta added something either. I remember it being stronger when you first showed it. Finally, but this is a matter of personal taste, I'm asking myself if the composition of the image would have benefited from more symmetry: the dome centred above the coffin. Thanks for showing, Philippe > From: Tina Manley <images@InfoAve.Net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Date: Sun, 29 May 2005 20:52:02 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] PAW 10, Very Late > > At 08:08 PM 5/29/2005, you wrote: >> that link didn't work for me, Tina. > > It was down for a few minutes while I added magenta: > > http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/44026261 > > Tina > > > Tina Manley, ASMP > www.tinamanley.com > > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
