I have heard some people rave about their 'lux pre-asphs. Though soft
and fuzzy wide open, it should be a good performer at f/2. The pre
asph 'cron at f/2 is not exactly state of the art at f/2 either. I
think it might be worthwhile to get a CLA from a good Leica tech IF
you really only need f/1.4 in emergencies. If you would like to use f/
1.4 often, get an Asph.
