You'll probably get by without it. I could to if I wouldn't take so many 
shots at minimum focus and forget to adjust a bit for parallax. That's 
really the only time I get chopped off heads; at close focus. You don't 
have to be a genius to figure out you'll get that, don't ask me why I 
didn't compensate ... :-(
