The university has a policy about copying documents but not photos. The city used it on their website to promote culture in the city. In both cases they were arrogant when I called and chose to ignore me. As a photographer I sent them an invoice each for a $1000! In both cases it got an immediate reaction. In the end the university agreed on $250 plus an apology. The city employee agreed on the same however her boss that that it should be $50!!!! I got the $250 but no apology. In the future anyone else who tries this stunt will be receiving similar treatment unless you want them to walk all over you or you don't mind other people making money from your work.
