I suppose that works out to over $4.00 a gallon but still much cheaper than many other countries around the planet. So relax and when it gets to $7-8 dollars a gallon then I suppose you might have something to cry about... but until then you guys are laughing. Now if some body would only figure out a way or a vehicle to run on salt water we might all have it made. ;-) ted ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joseph Yao" <joseph@yao.com> To: <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 12:09 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] A First > My reaction from my part of the world: > > US$3 a gallon is a bargain - we pay close to US$7 a gallon here. > > But then, our cars are a lot more energy efficient :-) > > Joseph > > > on 21/4/05 1:20 pm, Paul De Zan at paul@dezan.net wrote: > >> I suppose I could lie and say I never thought I'd live to see this, but >> in >> reality, I've known it was inevitable for a very long time now. >> >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/Alternates/IMG_0692_1 >> >> ---- >> pld (the energy policy of the united states is not to have an energy >> policy) >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >> > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
