Well the one thing I will say without any hesitation what-so-ever about
the E-1 is that the Olympus automatic sensor cleaning system is flawless
- I've been shooting with mine for more than 18 months now, under all
sorts of conditions, and I simply do not get any sensor crap in images -
it eliminates the need for the sensor cleaning all the others require.

Most digital SLR's will need overhauls before 3 yrs. Even the tank of a
D1x needs sensor cleaning and inside work.
