We nearly had a seizure when they discontinued the 520. They really screwed everyone who needed high quality screen at a "reasonable" price, when they killed that one. The Artisan is very nice, but costs twice as much as the 500 series they discontinued. We also gave up on the big 16x9 Sony's. Simply couldn't keep them in calibration, but it was nice to see a full cinema frame at 100% on your monitor... ;-) > But an Apple Cinema Display has better contrast and fewer > high-frequency artifacts (so, for example, text is cleaner). I agree the LCD appear to be crisper and Apple certainly makes the best out there. Remember the widescreen LCD SGI used to sell? I think that is the grand daddy of the Apple displays. ;-) feli ________________________________________________________ feli2@earthlink.net 2 + 2 = 4 www.elanphotos.com
