Adam,

That's a sad sight, to see where the F-111 ended up.  I spent many a night
helping with the operation of wind tunnel facilities during the development
of the engine-inlet system.  A very sophisticated airplane that was asked
to be everything for everyone, and consequently was never best at anything.
