Brad,

It is really simple...or clear as mud :-)

Born in Poland (hence a sister there); emigrated to Denmark with parents
at age 11 and grew up there (my sister is 15 years older, she was
already married so she stayed in Poland); after high school in 1979,
spent a year in the US having fun at SUNY/Buffalo, met a Puerto Rican
girl, married her and settled in the US in 1983 (she is still my SWMBO
21+ years later); moved back to Europe in 1995, first Belgium, then
Switzerland and now Netherlands.

The Spain trips were in connection with work, but I have fallen in love
with the country and will keep going back.

The Liverpool connection is like this: when I was a child/teenager in
Denmark in the 1970s, the Danish league was pretty awful. There were no
professional clubs, so all the good players went abroad as soon as they
could. On the other hand, Danish TV showed matches from England every
Saturday, so most of us supported one of the English teams, mostly
Liverpool, Manchester United or Arsenal, with a few deviants supporting
someone else. I personally adopted Liverpool because I liked the spirit
of the team, the great players like Kevin Keegan and Kenny Dalglish (and
many others), and because of the Beatles.

So there you have it.
