Subject: [Leica] Signing mats?

So I'm all set up to cut out the mats.  First batch of bulk 5 x 7.5" 
prints will be ready tomorrow, to be packed with 8 x 10" mats, ready 
for sale from Saturday.  Customers buy their own frames.

What's your experience with customers' preferences with signed mats?  
Just the photographer's name - or - the type of bird, where taken, 
photographer and year?  HB pencil?

All clues, opinions, preferences, etc appreciated.
