On the other hand, if Leica shuts its doors, because of the essentially mechanical nature of the Ms and Rs, and because there is a network of independent repair folks - to say nothing of a real demand for the cameras - the value of used equipment will undoubtedly rise. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of David Lee Sent: Friday, March 04, 2005 12:15 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] [OT] Contax n1 + Vario-SonnarR T* 3,5-4,5/24-85 Hello, I have been using the Contax N1 with 24-85 & 70-300 which are excellent in my opinion. Some people complain about autofocus being sort of slow compared with the top-of-the-line Nikon or Canon. It is fast enough for my photography. It all depends on what your photography field is. Leses are bar none one of the best zoom lenses. No complaint even as a long-time Leica users with optics like some of the Leica APO lenses.
