The auto focus was frankly, too late and not lens compatible with the mm system. The RTSIII was at one time the industry standard but auto focus really overwhelmed the whole mm system. The MF came out to rave reviews but suffers as all MF does to digital. A lot of dealers also had trouble getting the mm lenses which were often out of production for long periods but no one knew.
