Peter - In most places near Boston all new construction requires 
underground utilities.  The cost of moving above above-ground 
utilities underground is apparently very high.  When it is done, the 
difference is enormous.  Apparently even a meager grid of wires acts 
like a ceiling, hiding far more of the sky than the cross section of 
the wires would suggest.
