Karen,

I couldn't agree with you more.  My Spotmatic, though much younger than my
Leica IIIa and IIIf RD, works just great.  By the way, my first decision on
buying a camera was between a new Retina and a used Leica IIIa.  I chose
the Leica and it is still going strong.
