I'm at the office now and can't do it in practice ... You hold down the mouse on one of them and don't let up as you slide it to where you want it. It can kind of jerk in large jumps at times, but it usually works ok. But then ... when you release the mouse, the software goes back and readjusts the look of the preview. This can take 10-15 seconds. Maybe more. While it's doing that, you can't do anything. So if you go over to the other end of the scale to make an adjustment there too, nothing will happen ... until it's finished with its preview. Hope this helps Tina. Oh yes ... there are occassions when the right hand side (highlights) will not budge anymore to the right. I think that's when its automatic settings have already bottomed out and there's nothing more that can be done. That's only happened to me once, but it has happened.
