But I see the second working if you can get some more detail in the young man's face. I don't mind that you're further back than might be ideal, but I want to see him...None the less, you've captured a mood and a scene...nice... -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Feli Sent: Sunday, January 23, 2005 2:44 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: [Leica] PAW Feb22, 2005 http://www.elanphotos.com/ElanFotos/pages/current/current_v01.htm Two shots from downtown. Trash: I believe this one works better than the second shot. Maybe a little too "peeling-paint", but I like it. ;-) Couple talking: I think I'm fishing with this one. Just doesn't work. Too far away, so you can't read their faces. I would have been better off with a 90. The light down there is a bit of a challenge. At 400 asa I'm getting f16/500th in the sun and the shadows are f16/60th. There's not much of a transition in between. So either the faces are fried or the shadows blocked up. Comments are appreciated.
