Ken Frazier wrote about using 100-year-old tools and older Leica camera and
lenses.

While we pride ourselves on the advances of technology, people in the past
were not stupid and made marvelous things. I know many large format
photographers who use 100-year-old lenses.

That said, I need to say that what I like about Leica is how they have
improved their lenses over time. That says a lot about them. And I marvel
at how good the images Leicas produce. I have some 16x20 Cibas made from
Velvia slides and they have detail like you wouldn't believe--all this from
a 35mm image. That is remarkable engineering. And if paper were able to
accept everything that is on a negative, I think we'd see even better how
great the Leica lenses are.
