Use premium paper and print using the highest quality setting and you will get great results. I did this for Christmas gifts this year and they thought they were photo prints. Yes it does eat ink, but the results and price for the printer make it worth it. I thought about profiling it, but after looking at the results, decided it was not worth the time or money.
