But they did something else which might appeal to a M user. After the copper plating, they dipped the parts into a bath which turned everything black. Then by selecting rubbing the finish the gleaming copper could be recovered, to give an "antique" look. It looks better then it sounds. On the Jay leno show, Paul Sr. (those of you who have watched the series know about Paul and Paul jr.) let slip the fact that the bike was worth 1/2 a million bucks. -dan c.
