That way I could tote only one camera in the field, while my back-up stayed in the hotel. And I wouldn't have to worry about focusing accuracy with the T-E, as I might with an f/4 zoom (RF vs TTL focusing). If I go that route, I would be in the market for a used version of the T-E. Are there any "gotcha's" when buying that lens. I am aware there were/are two versions of it.
