Sorry, Mark - you're confusing the Nikons with the Kodaks...I have get
to see a press guy with a Kodak...the Kodaks have bombed...the initial
ones were used, because they were early on the market...but as soon as
the D1s and the EOS1d came out...end of Kodak....

Just read this having just posted my last post.
Which would normally be the case in this time warp.


The Kodak cameras were and are very popular among the most visible pros
BD. The press guys 
    who I thought you were keyed into. As well as others.
Lets not confuse the internet would with the real world.
On the internet they get a bad rap.
This had not stopped their wide professional use.
