I remember Tina telling a story of a Leica...sorry, can't recall if it was M or R...which was submerged in some Central American Swamp. It may be what you seek. Buzz Hausner -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+buzz.hausner=verizon.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+buzz.hausner=verizon.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Alexander Glissan Sent: Sunday, October 24, 2004 4:36 PM To: lug@leica-users.org Subject: [Leica] Re Leica M weather proof Dear all: Thanks for the inso on drying an M6 I will write it down, but I may have mislead you. I wondered if anyone had any WAR (WORE) stories involving M cameras and their survival in adverse conditions. There is a web site some where which states a photographer shot all day in the rain with an M3 and although the camera worked fine. He opened it up when home and dried it out and it was perfect again. He also swears that and M3 in almost waterproof (within reason) because of this. I wondered if anyone had any other stories about M's and feats of endurance. Cheers once again Alex _________________________________________________________________ Find love today with ninemsn personals.
