I also have its R brother for portraits and other close up type shots. Both very nice lenses. gene Ian Watts <i.watts@virgin.net> Sent by: lug-bounces+grduprey=rockwellcollins.com@leica-users.org 10/20/2004 08:57 AM Please respond to Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> To <lug@leica-users.org> cc Subject [Leica] Recent Leica 90/2.8 - Seeking Comments and Advice Scott McLoughlin wrote: > > So I'm putting out feelers for a longer lens. It's a very fine lens - and reasonably priced by Leica standards. To me it is a nice balance between the modern sharp Leica optics and the smooth creamy Leica lenses of the past. Having said this I no longer use mine* because I do virtually all portrait work with an SLR and have a 90/F4 in my M travel kit. Ian.
