Rule of Thumb: Image dpi should be twice your press line screen. Besides, I have one of these 24X36 inch prints (from a 17meg 10X7 inch file from a D100) on my wall and its nice. It works ...really :^) Greg Locke St. John's, Newfoundland http://blog.greglocke.com ----------------------------- Independent journalism from Newfoundland & Labrador > -----Original Message----- > From: lug-bounces+locke=straylight.ca@leica-users.org > [mailto:lug-bounces+locke=straylight.ca@leica-users.org] On > Behalf Of Philippe Orlent > Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 2:43 PM > To: Leica Users Group > Subject: Re: [Leica] Genuine Fractals-any good? > > Newspapers print at 85 lpi.
