I've never seen a machine print x-rayed or fogged film only in "landscape" mode. Seems like user error to me. The film can be fogged enough where the machine's sensor cannot pick up between frames, but that does not explain a landscape mode. Ask the lab if they print in "auto" mode. Machines are good, but not always accurate. Chris New Orleans ----- Original Message ----- From: "alex olstein" Subject: strange x-ray effect Hi everyone, I just had a roll of fujicolor 1600 developed and printed at my local 1 hour minilab. 4 shots were printed as "landscape mode." And I had the machine operator redo them and again the machine printed landscape mode. The operator claimed that the camera marked the negatives for this. Strange since I used a 1950's Leica M3. Any comments? Alex Olstein ( in New Jersey )
