Deconvolution is an age old process for extracting a clear seismic signal from noisy data. I've been using it for 30 years now. It will certainly sharpen the signal but tends to introduce random noise. What they need in addition is random noise attenuation. Unless they have a totally new algorithm, decon will be whitening the whole colour spectrum ie adding noise to it across all frequencies. RNA is one of the few processes able to remove this unordered noise. The combination of decon and RNA looks like a very good line of approach for image enhancement Douglas Jonathan Borden schrieb: > Last week there was a thread involving deblurring images, refocussing > etc. Apparently there is some new and very expensive software that > models lenses etc. I can across this product: > http://www.reindeergraphics.com/foveapro/deconvolution.shtml and > although haven't used it, it sounds as though they know what they are > doing and it bears investigation for those interested. > > Jonathan > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > -- Ihre bevorzugten Shops, hilfreiche Einkaufs-Hilfen und gro?artige Geschenk Ideen.
