I rarely buy vegetables during the growing season. The grunting pigs bother the neighbors quite a bit, though. Last week the European Council issued a general warning for children and pregnant women not to eat fish more than twice a week due to high mercury levels. I'm afraid the only food that still is kosjer (in a broad sense) to eat, is the food you produce yourself.
