[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]If in RGB mode, most of the time this works better with images, adjustments, curves: to enhance contrast, select a spot on the low end of the scale and descend, select a second spot on the high end of the scale and rise. to change lightness/darkness, select a spot in the center of the scale and descend or rise. Then convert ot B&W with the desired technique. I have the impression you have more control this way, as the lightness/contrast function tends to burn out zones pretty quick, and descends the quality of the image. In RGB, you can also put a layer of yellow/green or yellowgreen (try different opacities) over the selected zone or the entire image before you convert to B&W. In Photshop CS it's even easier: images, adjustments, photo filter. --- > From: "Douglas M.
