I don't even have problems switching between a double stroke M3 and a single stroke M2 or M4. Something about the distance triggers a reflex "one more time" in the M3. The strokes are longer in the others so the reflex never kicks in. Different strokes for different folks :) Daniel On Wed, 1 Sep 2004, Jeffery Smith wrote: > My .02 is that the later models (single stroke) are easier to use than > having to double stroke the lever for film advance. > > Jeffery Smith > New Orleans, LA > > > -----Original Message----- > From: lug-bounces+jls=runbox.com@leica-users.org > [mailto:lug-bounces+jls=runbox.com@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Adam > Bridge > Sent: Tuesday, August 31, 2004 9:55 PM > To: Leica Users Group > Subject: [Leica] Features to look for in an M3 > > If I wanted to buy an M3 to SHOOT WITH as opposed to put in a case > with spotlights etc etc, what features changed over the course of the > camera's production that make one version a better camera than > another? > > If this is a religious issue I apologize and I'll just put on my Tilly > hat and drink my scotch over there in the corner... > > Adam > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >
