I get better prints, particularly colour balance, from (large sensor) digital than I managed in a darkroom from 35mm film, this is probably more because of my lack of darkroom patience. I use MF for maximum quality. I am not that fond of B&W. I love my M6 but it gets little use at the moment - perhaps because it has a B&W film in it :-) cheers Frank On 1 Sep, 2004, at 22:33, Scott McLoughlin wrote: > Emanuel Lowi wrote: > >> My trusty dealer tells me that he now sells 3x worth >> of Sandisk memory cards vs. film, daily. > >> Who feels like some luddisaurus trapped in a Jurassic >> tar pond? > > -----CUT----- > <snip> > So many thoughts. > > > > But maybe digital is letting us know that "good > enough and cheap" is the real driving principle of > small format photography?
