I had just upgraded my EarthLink software and my Netscape software, and got a faulty installation. I initially blamed it on Netscape, but, just this morning, determined it to be associated with EarthLink Accelerator. Just completed a new installation and the photo images are now fine. For anyone who uses the accelerator software, the HIGH acceleration settings will definitely degrade the downloaded images, and HIGH is the default setting.
