While I am driven nuts by spam, I'll put up with it to have instant access to most of the material in every major American newspaper. Were it not for the net and newspaper websites, I'd only have reasonably convenient access to a handful of papers - and I'd have to pay to get them. Putting up with spam is a small price to pay to be able to get the New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, etc. etc. etc. FREE. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Ken Firestone Sent: Wednesday, August 04, 2004 1:59 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Magnum photo essay On Mon, 2 Aug 2004 13:40:59 -0400, B. And the newspapers claim they want it to target ads. For the record, I registered legit with the NY Times, LA Times and Chicago Tribune. For some reason the way the Washington Post did things ticked me off, and I refuse to give them anything close to legit. -- ================================================ Ken Firestone, W3CAT Kerry-Courage under fire. kenf01@gmail.com Bush-Driving under the influence. kenf@speakeasy.net ================================================ _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
