Hi Douglas,
This falls in the category of... "it's better to have something than nothing
at all!"

As unfortunate as it is not to have had your Leica along, there's always the
chance you'd have had the wrong lens and film anyway. ;-)

I suppose consolation might be, you have something that looks like it might
have been taken 60 years ago. ;-)
