It may be an issue of glass run out of stock or availability.. We may never
know....

Dumbed down 75?  Why not?  If digital can not reproduce the nuances of a top
notch lens, and based upon Dan C. comments about new lenses, it seems a
possible answer.  It would be lighter, smaller, cheaper to make, etc.  All
good business issues.....

Limited ISO?  I am not so sure I understand this point.. I am not a digital
user, so this is purely my ignorance.
