BD.. I must agree on the reasonably small base of M buyers.  However there
is possibly one reason for introducing a new 75.  Leica has now replaced all
the lenses once made in Canada.  The 75 I believe is the last one.  It might
be only the issue of supply vs discontinuation. Personally I thought it wa a
bit dumb to produce a 90/4, and even dumber to have the Macro feature as a
come on ( at a small additional charge of $1000).

Then there is the possibility of a dumbed down 75 to go with the DIgital M.

As I once said, If I were King......
