While the digital back for the R is novel - and interchangable - it seems the M just doesn't lend itself to such fundamental alterations. Just my $.02. We'll all have to wait and see. If you replace a smaller sensor with a 1:1 sensor - wouldn't the frame lines be off? This may mean that when a proper full-frame sensor is available, we will be able to have it retrofitted to the back/body, giving us interchangeability not only of lenses. By that time I think most sensor will be 1:1 like in EOS 1Ds JSJ On Sun, 11 Jul 2004 17:02:01 +0100, Steve Unsworth <mail@steveunsworth.co.uk> wrote: > You could always buy a Nocti if 800 wasn't fast enough ;-) > > Steve > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: lug-bounces+mail=steveunsworth.co.uk@leica-users.org > [mailto:lug-bounces+mail=steveunsworth.co.uk@leica-users.org] On Behalf > Of B.
