Keep it up. > Wow - thank you for the kind words, Doug. These images were scanned with Nikon's scanning software for the LS4000. I haven't tried scanning them with VueScan. I'll probably give that a try when I have a few moments. Part of the trouble lies with these being somewhat over-exposed negatives. I most definately have to add that 3rd cam to the lens. And you're right about the lack of depth of field. I very deliberately stopped way down to get as much of the wheat field in focus as possible in the blackbird photo. THEY weren't holding still very well either. Earlier in the day we encountered a flock of wild turkeys and not-so-wild peacocks in an orchard along with two deer - all enjoying the shade on the warm late-spring day. Then we passed a single doe in another orchard laying in the shade. I've gone a long time without seeing either of these. And lastly we saw several cock ring-necked pheasants but they were so wary that there was no time to even lift the camera before they had vanished into the tall grasses. That brilliant red head sure is a marker though! Best regards, Adam
