Anthracite MP?
We have discovered that Leica AG has allocated a small number of MP. 72
bodies with anthracite finish similar to that on the R9. Along with that
body, there is a special 35mmf2.0 ASPH similar to the one included in
the hammertone kit (except with an anthracite shade rather than
Hammertone one.) The silvery granular finish -in my estimation- is a
better match to the MP look than the R series and it is very scratch
resistant besides its good looks.
We are importing a small number of these limited edition cameras and we
are taking reservations now. Final price is still to be determined but
likely to be in the same price range as the Hammertone set. So... cash
deposits are not necessary, but call or email to get in line to be sure
you don't miss out on this very usable collectible.
