Right, Ted. ICE and silver halide B&W films don't mix, and it isn't just
with the big-grained films. I tried ICE on Technical Pan, and it turned
it into black curdles.

Hi Matt,
your problem maybe more with the "ice" function screwing-up your B&W
scanning than the film !  ICE is probably the worst thing a B&W shooter
has
to cope with in digital printing than anything else photographic.
