But I only got around to scanning the film this weekend, so here it goes. On April 1st I had a meeting in Lisbon, and I rented a car and drove there from Seville. On the way I stopped for lunch in Faro, the main town of the Portuguese region of Algarve. I took a walk around the town, and snapped these shots, among others. The first two are typical street in Faro. The main is the main because SWMBO liked it best ;-) http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2004/2004_16.jpg http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2004/2004_16alt1.jpg The legacy of Che is alive and well in Faro: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2004/2004_16alt2.jpg The biggest event in Portugal this year is the Euro 2004 football (soccer) tournament, and one of the central squares in Faro has a big countdown billboard: http://www.nathanfoto.com/paw/2004/2004_16alt3.jpg All pictures with Leica CL, on Fuji Velvia 100F, the first three with the 25mm Snapshot Skopar, the last one with the 40mm Summicron.
