In fact, I'd say that he's someone who rarely gets the attention he deserves. For another look at aging, check out 'the fat baby - stories by Eugene Richards," which has just been released. Photos and text are VERY strong, particularly the story about Richards moving his father out of the family home and down to Florida. B. I obtained a copy after originally seeing it a month or so ago in Kirk Anspach's studio (Kirk Anspach develops and prints for Ed Kashi, Jim Marshall and others.) All of the images in "Aging in America" were made with Leica, most on Tri-X, some on TMZ. AFAIK few photographers have attempted to document such a difficult subject.
