Now before you answer, a moment please. Is this truly a focus group when we have horrendous discussions on supposedly non topics from almost hang nails to single malt scotch? Or battling daily over a digital M? When day after day it can't be done with the lenses of the day? Nor that the M body as is can't be adapted and still feel the same? Now I'm not saying some of these things can't be done. But, really haven't there been days when you wondered about the mental abiliy of some of us? And yes I include myself! :-) Even though my mental status has been challenged on more than one occasion. All I'm saying is I find it hard to believe Solms or NJ would seriously consider much of what is said here when at least 90 % of it or more on some days is a scale above school yard boys and girls in a dribble match! ted - ----- Original Message ----- From: Andrew Schroter <schroter@optonline.net> Date: Sunday, September 21, 2003 2:05 pm Subject: Re: [Leica] FOCUS GROUPS for LEICA/ HERMES > In my computer industry experience, and the conclusion by some > experts in > that area is that Focus groups can help with creating incremental > improvements in products, but the breakthrough ideas and products > don't come > out of focus groups.
