If going digital will give you benefits, why wait for what Leica may never do? Don't get me wrong...you'll get my M6 when you pry it out of my cold, dead fingers. Even when I get a state of the art digital system, I don't imagine giving up the smell of fixer or the enjoyment and anticipation while I soup my film. It's relaxing. When it stops being fun, then I'll add digital. When I think of digital, Leica is not the company that springs to mind. I think of mechanical and simple. I think of 20 years behind the curve. While I understand the appeal of using the same lenses, my understanding is that the current lenses I have aren't really optimal for digital, anyway.
