I'm not suggesting that you should simply put the CL out of the game - because it may be that, for your particular purposes, a miniature body, shorter - harder to accurately focus - rangefinder base, meter on a swing-down stalk, all in a 25-30 (?) year-old Japanese body with Leica's name on it, is the tool you need. On the other hand, you may find that a full-size, nicely balanced, longer-rangefinder base NEW - with warranty - - Japanese body with a more modern meter design and higher speed flash sync is the right tool for you.
