Yes, those "family assignments" can be the most stressful of all! If those
don't come out, you have the wrath of your family to bear for the next 1000
years! Nightmares with subtitles like, "you messed up the pictures of the
kids' birthday parties! Now we'll never be able to remember what happened!
;-)

When my son was born, his father took it upon himself to photograph the
birth. He was not a photographer (to say the least!), and forgot to focus (I
guess he was distracted?). We have some very nice abstract images of who
knows what? They look like very out-of-focus pictures of a bowl of peaches!

Like the time that I needed a flash for my #1 son's graduation from HS
party at the fancy Italian restaurant.  I was using the hexar RF and I
just assumed I could slap on the SF 20 and use it in A (uto)
mode......... stupid to use combos without testing....... Nah nothing
bad happened = pics came out fine, everyone had a great time.  But it
is scary to think that I did that!!!   :)
