There are three ways to get the adapter off; first turn the lens without pressing the lens release button -- the lens come off leaving the adapter still on the body -- then press the release button and tap the adapter gently with some solid object. Second, unscrew the adapter from the lens, hard to do with your fingers, so use a dampened chamois (the dampened chamois is also good for taking the battery cover off), Or, three, use on of those leica rear lens caps that is designed to take off an adapter. sl > > >> What does one do if an sm->bayonet adapter gets stuck on an M? > > > > -- > To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html > - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
