If you screw the lens in too hard, you'll never get the adapter off the lens... If so, I'd try screwing an LTM lens down pretty hard first to lock it to the adapter, then try removing it like that. Otherwise, you're going to have to find something to turn the adapter with. Personally, I have never had one that a tightly screwed down lens wouldn't work on. It seems strange that an adapter would get so stuck that you'd have big problems getting it off.
