Remember it takes courage for most of us to post our pictures. We *want* be
better photographers. (Our cameras aren't collecting "investor" dust in the
closet.)

What would the standards be? Who sets them? Sure, some are better than
others, and not all of us are award-winning photographers (well, some of us
might be...<g>)

There's a mix of stroking and quality criticism. That's ok. If it encourages
more picture taking, without a doubt is for the best.
